From downtown Daytona Beach, Go 4 miles down US Highway 1 or A1A to where A1A crosses the Halifax River (Dunlawton Ave). At the foot of the bridge, turn right onto the service road. The Port Orange Marina is just 2 blocks down on the right just before the street goes under the bridge.

Daytona Beach is about 10 miles from the nearest boat access to the Atlantic Ocean at Ponce Inlet (the mouth of the Halifax River). The nearest public boat ramp to Daytona Beach with access to the ocean and plenty of public parking is the Dunlawton Bridge Boat Ramp on the Halifax River in Port Orange. The Dunlawton Bridge Boat Ramp is just 6 miles south of downtown Daytona Beach via Hwy 1 or Hwy A1A.
We also can depart from the public boat ramp in Ponce Inlet and the North Causeway and Swoop Site public boat ramps in New Smyrna Beach.
1) Dunlawton Bridge Boat Ramp

Go 4 miles down US Highway 1 or A1A to where A1A crosses the Halifax River (Dunlawton Ave). Cross the river and in the middle of the river is a little island. On the south side of the street is Donald’s Bait & Tackle Shop. Take the service road from Donald’s Bait & Tackle about 500 feet to the east side of the island and the boat ramp is under the bridge. Public parking is available.

From Daytona Beach, go straight south down US Highway 1 for approximately 14 miles. Just 5 blocks before you reach the major intersection of State Highway 44, turn left on Washington Street (there is an Exxon station on the corner). 5 blocks down you will cross a small bridge and Washington Street turns into North Causeway. Boat Ramp Park is a quarter mile down on the right. There is public parking at the park.

From downtown Daytona Beach go straight south down US Highway 1 for approximately 13 miles. Just as you reach the New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport which is on the right side of the road, you will see Boat Ramp Road (also known as Boat Ramp Drive) across the street from the airport on the left side of the road. Go 1/4 mile to the end of the road and you will see the boat ramp. There is a public parking lot at the boat launch.

4) Ponce Inlet Boat Ramp

Directions to the Ponce Inlet Boat Ramp
Go straight south from Daytona Beach down A1A (the beach road) toward the town of Ponce Inlet. About half way to Ponce Inlet, A1A turns right to go over the Halifax River but stay straight on the beach road known as South Atlantic Avenue all the way to the town of Ponce Inlet. About 4 miles past where A1A turned right to go over the Halifax River you will reach Lighthouse Drive at the entrance to the famous Lighthouse Point Park. Turn right on Lighthouse Drive and very shortly, you will run into Peninsular Drive. Turn right on Peninsular Drive and about 500 feet down the road on the left you will see the Hidden Treasure Rum Bar & Grill and our boat ramp. There is a public parking lot next door to the boat ramp just before the restaurant.
