Shark Fishing Charters

On our Daytona Beach Shark Fishing Trips, we will be fishing for sharks just off the coast where the sharks are most plentiful!

These are nearshore fishing trips up to about 3 nautical miles off the beaches which means we can get to the best fishing spots for sharks fast! The species we target include Atlantic Sharp-nosed Sharks, Hammerheads, Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Lemon Sharks, Nurse Sharks and even the occasional Mako Shark.

Yes! Everyone of all ages can catch fish with Captain Sean! We especially love families and first timers in the ocean to share this experience with!

What should we bring?
Captain Sean provides everything you need to fish including fishing licenses, bait and tackle.
Here’s what you need to bring for a great time on the water.
• Bring a cooler with your food and drink for the day, ice is provided.
• Tropical weather clothing, sunscreen, a wide brim hat and polarized sunglasses are highly recommended.
• If worried about sea sickness, consider motion sickness medication such as Dramamine, Bonine or others. The patch is the most effective, consult with your doctor.

How do we Book a Charter?
Call Captain Sean at 386-547-1456 to confirm your departure date and leave time.
A small deposit is required at time of booking.
Cash payment is required at the dock BEFORE departure.

We typically board at the Port Orange Marina near King’s Seafood right by Dunlawton Bridge.

Offshore Fishing Charters

On our Daytona Beach Offshore/Deep Sea Fishing Trips, we will be fishing within 5-15 miles from the beach. We offer both trolling and bottom fishing.

When trolling, our primary targets are King Mackeral (kingfish), Cobia, Barracuda, Bonita (little tunny) and the occasional Sailfish, Mahi Mahi or Tarpon.

We can bottom fish the extensive artificial reef system off the coast of Daytona Beach for various species of Grouper and Snapper, Black Seabass, Flounder, Triggerfish and and other assorted bottom fish, depending on the season of course. Amberjacks and Sharks can also be caught when bottom fishing near Daytona Beach.

Half Day Charter

$600 up to 4 passengers

$50 for each additional passenger

Full Day Charter
(6 hours)

$800 up to 4 passengers

Inshore Fishing Charters

On our Daytona Beach Inshore Fishing Trips we will be fishing inside Ponce Inlet, in the Halifax River or the Intracoastal Waterway.

These are saltwater and brackish water fishing trips for species such as Redfish, Snook, Spotted Sea Trout (Speckled Trout), Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Jack Crevalle and other species. Sharks can also be caught when fishing inshore near Daytona Beach.

You’ll be fishing in some of the most scenic waterways in Central Florida. Along the way there are plenty of opportunities to view Florida wildlife including exotic waterbirds and the occassional dolphin or manatee.

Sight Seeing River Trips
With its mangrove lined shoreline, the Halifax River is one of the most beautiful rivers in Florida! The Halifax River is home to Florida’s bottle-nosed dolphins, manatees, beautiful waterbirds and other Florida wildlife. Along the way you’ll also see elegant homes and Florida’s tallest lighthouse. A very relaxing boat trip that the whole family will enjoy!

Burial at Sea
Captain Sean’s vessel is available for scattering-of-ashes ceremonies in the Atlantic Ocean. The ceremony is both peaceful and dignified for all aboard and Captain Sean will do his best to provide a positive, memorable experience for his passengers. GPS coordinates of the exact location of the ceremony are provided.
